Children's birthday jewelry parties, at Legacy Beads, are tons of fun!
Tired of a messy house after the party? What better way to avoid the chaos than to have your child's next
birthday party with us. We offer several options, based on the age of the children attending the party. Our
parties are recommended for ages 6 and up.
Birthday parties are 1 1/2 - 2 hours long. Participants design a necklace from a table full
of Fire-Polished Czech glass beads. (These high quality beads are the same beads being
sold in the store). Step-by-step instructions are given during a 45 minute lesson and beaders
take home a beautiful necklace. Boys are always welcome at Birthday parties, and have the
option of making a gemstone choker. Cost is $10 per person.
We are now offering 2-strands bracelet classes as an alternative to the necklace. These
classes are for children age 10 and older. The bracelet is available in either
Fire-Polished Czech glass or Swarovski Crystal beads.
Czech bracelets are $10 per person. Crystal bracelets are $20 per person.
You'll be amazed - so many colors to chose from that no two pieces of jewelry will be the same. The children
are encouraged to decide on the bead colors based on their own wardrobe and preference. If a child is having
a difficult time coming up with a color combination they like, we will offer some suggestions, but ultimately, the
child makes the final decision. At any time, during the design process, the children are invited to change any or
all beads on their design mats.
After the completion of making the jewelry, the classroom is available for the continuation of your party,
conducted by an adult in charge of the group. There are 2 party length options:
1 1/2 hours (which includes 45 minutes for beading) is long enough if you are providing ice cream & cake along
with opening presents.
2 hours (which includes 45 minutes for beading) will be needed if you also plan on providing a quick meal, such
as pizza or sandwiches.
We have a refrigerator, available for keeping your drinks cold and ice cream frozen, while the group is beading.
We’ll furnish the class room, beading supplies and a lesson to create a piece of jewelry.
You supply the food and beverage (don’t forget your paper & plastic goods!).
Please let parents know that this is a drop-off party. We don't have enough room for parents to stay (unless
their child has a medical reason for parental assistance) We also don't want the parents guiding the children.
Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your party time so that you can be ready to greet your guests.
Two adults must remain in the party room during the entire party.
50% Non-refundable deposit due at booking.
Remainder due on day of party. You only pay for the number in attendance.
