Children's birthday jewelry parties, at Legacy Beads, are tons of fun!
Tired of a messy house after the party? What better way to avoid the chaos than to have your child's next
birthday party with us.
Birthday parties are 1 1/2 - 2 hours long. Participants design a necklace from a table full of Fire-Polished Czech
glass beads. (These high quality beads are the same beads being sold in the store). Step-by-step instructions
are given during a 45 minute lesson and beaders take home a beautiful necklace. (For older children (ages
10+) and adults, instructions for other jewelry pieces are available in place of a necklace, at a slightly higher
price per person. Please click on the picture of the necklace below, to see other party options.) Boys are
always welcome at Birthday parties, and have the option of making a gemstone choker.
You'll be amazed - so many colors to chose from that no two necklaces will be the same. Our parties are
recommended for ages 6 and up. The children are encouraged to decide on the bead colors based on their
own wardrobe and preference. If a child is having a difficult time coming up with a color combination they like,
we will offer some suggestions, but ultimately, the child makes the final decision. At any time, during the design
process, the children are invited to change any and all beads on their design mats. (We always let them know
that if they don't like what they see on their mat, then they won't like the necklace when they're done. And if
they don't like the necklace, they won't wear it.)
After the completion of making the jewelry, the classroom is available for the continuation of your party,
conducted by an adult in charge of the group. There are 2 party length options:
1 1/2 hours (which includes 45 minutes for beading) is long enough if you are providing ice cream & cake along
with opening presents.
2 hours (which includes 45 minutes for beading) will be needed if you also plan on providing a quick meal, such
as pizza or sandwiches.
We have a refrigerator, available for keeping your drinks cold and ice cream frozen, while the group is beading.
There also is a table for you to use for cake, snacks, etc.
$10.00 per person – great for kids’ parties!
$15.00 per person, includes base metal beads
$20.00 per person, includes Swarovski crystals
$30.00 per person, includes Swarovski crystals and Sterling Silver findings.
We’ll furnish the class room, beading supplies and a lesson to create a necklace.
You supply the food and beverage (don’t forget your paper & plastic goods)!
Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your party time so that you can
be ready to greet your guests.
50% Non-refundable deposit due at booking.
